A Tip to Speed Up Data Entry Into Tables

Normally, when you enter data into a table like the one below, you might choose to input the data by month, moving your cursor to the right using the right cursor arrow.  When you get to the end of the row, you hit enter then grab your mouse to move back to the first column, or hit the left cursor arrow until you are there.

But there’s a quicker way.  As you enter data into each column, use the Tab key to move to the next column.  As long as you use the Tab key instead of the right arrow key, when you get to the last column, hit Enter.  It will automatically move your cursor down one row and left to the first column into which you entered data!
