I’m not sure why I never knew this before! As we all know, there are several ways to copy and paste in Excel. The most common I use are the keyboard shortcuts:
Ctrl + C = Copy
Ctrl + V = Paste
What I never realized is the difference between using Ctrl + V to Paste and just hitting Enter!
Ctrl + V will keep the copied item in the clipboard so that you can paste it in several locations.
But if you only need to paste the item once, just hit the Enter button and it will paste the item in the appropriate location. Simple!
