The Minimum Count In A Range In #Excel

Here is how you can find the minimum quantity of a value in a range of data in Excel:

Due to the somewhat complex nature of this process, I strongly encourage you to watch the video to see how this can be accomplished. For those who just like to skip to the last page of the book, here is the formula I used to accomplish this:

{=MAX( ( COUNTIF(A2:J22,A2:J22) = MIN( COUNTIF(A2:J22,A2:J22) ) ) * A2:J22) )}

Note that is is an array formula requiring Ctrl + Shift + Enter rather than just Enter.

A2:J22 is the range of cells of the data. Note that it is also the criteria for the COUNTIF function.
